We were delighted to once again work with Cantor Hindson Consultancy , covering the annual Get on Board paddleboard event for their client, Be Richmond.
Launched in 2018 in conjunction with Richmond Business Improvement District (BID), the event takes place annually on the summer solstice and brings together the Richmond community as they take to the water to clean up the River Thames, with others walking alongside and clearing the riverbank of litter.
Dead Ready Productions first covered the event in 2018, creating a promotional video to help spread the word of what was happening and show the positive impact people’s efforts could have on the environment, so it was fantastic to see how successfully Get on Board had been scaled up, going from 90 paddleboarders in 2018 to 300 paddleboarders.
Over a beautiful July afternoon and evening, we used our regular video cameras, GoPros and our DJI inspire drone to cover the event from the ground, water and air – obtaining a wide variety of footage to feed into the highlights video.
The annual Get on Board event has gone from strength to strength with national television coverage on all main channels. Brett Hindson, Director, Cantor Hindson Consultancy comments;
