The annual Parliamentary Reception is a flagship event in the Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) calendar, as it’s a key opportunity to bring together patrons, MPs, medical professionals and CRY staff.
They asked us to produce a short video of the 2010 event, their 15th anniversary, to provide a record of the evening and give a flavour to those who were unable to make it.
We filmed a number of interviews with guests at the event, including guest of honour singer, songwriter, Pixie Lott, then edited these together with a variety of shots of the evening to give an upbeat and engaging account of the evening.
Dead Ready Productions relationship with CRY goes back to March 2010, when we first helped them create two short films featuring former Secretary of State for Health, Andy Burnham, who was visiting schools to help raise awareness of the charity and the work they do.
Since then, we have gone on to produce numerous promotional films and Video News Releases for CRY, for both broadcast and web usage. As well as Andy Burnham and Pixie Lott, videos have featured Olympic Medal winning rower, Matt Wells, Legendary Irish International footballer, Pat Jennings, and many more.
We have also created entertaining and informative event videos that provide current and topical content for their website, driving traffic to the site and encouraging repeat visits.
