The Challenge
Amalgamated Metal Trading (AMT), a leading international metal broker headquartered in the City of London, set out to reinforce their image as a prestigious yet forward-thinking brand in the finance and commodities industry. They commissioned a short, impactful video to showcase their team, modern office environment, and reputation within the field.
The video would need to engage audiences both on their website and across screens at industry-wide events, capturing their legacy, their expertise, and their tech-driven innovation. Additionally, AMT sought to maximise ROI by capturing candid photography alongside the video shoot, allowing for a cohesive visual set to be used across their website, social channels, and printed collateral.

The Approach
To deliver on AMT’s ambitious goals, our production team planned a dual approach, capturing both video and stills in tandem over one day to bring their brand story to life. A key set-piece was captured live on the London Metal Exchange floor, one of the last open-outcry trading floors worldwide—a rare opportunity to capture the intensity and energy of live trading.
Working seamlessly alongside the video team, our photographers captured candid, authentic shots that would become key assets across AMT’s digital and print channels. This two-fold approach allowed for efficiency, minimising the time commitment required from AMT’s team and enabling a cohesive visual style across both mediums.

The Result
The final 60-second video, coupled with a portfolio of high-quality candid photos, created a dynamic and impactful brand presentation. The video’s fast-paced editing and dramatic soundtrack engage viewers from the start, while the stills capture authentic moments and team interactions, amplifying AMT’s presence across their marketing channels. The combined visual assets reinforce AMT’s stature as a brand deeply rooted in history yet always innovating for the future.
